Happy Birthday Grandma Taylor

Ok, life got busy and I forgot to post this. But it was my Grandma Taylor's birthday on March 27th, and I wrote a little tribute to her:

Today is my Grandma's birthday. She passed away a few years back, but she's always in our hearts. I love to look back at all of the wonderful memories I had with her. She was an amazing lady. She was the best Grandma. Definitely a cool lady. Here are a few fun memories I have of her.
* Watching the Disneyland fireworks from her LA condo.
* Playing "Marco-polo" in her swimming pool with my siblings/cousins
* Eating Cookie Crisp (she was cool like that)
* That cookie jar she had that said "If Mom says no, ask Grandma"
* Remembering when she would get on me for snacking every 15 minutes because she thought I would get fat...still skinny Grandma! : )
* That way she would smirk and shrug her shoulders like a cute old lady
* When I was able to drive her from LA to Utah, and learn more about her life
* The time Kim and I fed her pizza and pretzels and later found out she was on a low-sodium diet (oops!)
* Being able to talk basketball with her (when she was 80 years old!)

I could go on and on. Grandma Taylor was (and is) an amazing woman. She lost her husband at an early age, but kept on with life. She was honestly one of the hardest workers I have ever, ever seen. I don't think dental school would have even fazed her.
Most of all I am grateful for her testimony, and for her and Grandpa accepting the gospel. It is because of them that I know the truth about Jesus Christ and the gospel today. I am sure they are missionaries in heaven. I love and miss you Grandma. You're the best.

Thanks Michael. It brought tears to my eyes. Hopefully our grandchildren will have happy memories like that with us years from now. Mom
