Kate was born at 12:34 pm. She was 8lb 3 oz, 20 1/4" inches. Everything went really well and I wasn't uncomfortable at all. Dr. Bair was so quick and comforting. I feel so blessed to have him for a doctor. We also had the best nurses. We were surprised at how much hair she has. She looks a lot like Allie did, but with way more hair. Michael got to tell me that she was a girl and I just cried. The nurse asked her name and Michael said "Her name is Kate" and it felt so right. She cried for just a little bit and then settled down. She is beautiful and truly a gift from Heavenly Father.

Kate is absolutely beautiful and Kim you look great too. I can't wait to talk to you. I am so glad that everything went well. I love her name!!! Our whole family can't wait to meet her - maybe we can fit in your moms trunk and come see her too!
Yea!! Your baby girl!! She is gorgeous! C-section babies are beautiful. Perfectly round faces and no bruises. I love her cheeks and alllllll that hair. Her name is beautiful! I'm glad you two could be a bit more decisive than we were . . .

Congratulations!!! Kate is so so beautiful and that is one of my most favorite girl names! I think Charlotte and Kate are destined to be friends someday (hopefully at BYU) with their similar entries into the world and matching long dark hair. I'm so glad the operation went well and I hope you are comfortable today.
