CA part 1, Carpinteria


Allie won the award for best new surfer!

We just got back from almost 3 weeks in CA! We spent one of the weeks in Carpinteria with all the family. It was fantastic and we can't wait to go back. We spent 5 days in the ocean playing, swimming and learning to surf with Uncle Neil. We all enjoyed the Galyan cousins and playing on the beach everyday. I would blog about it all, but I'm a little short on time. Luckily, Jill has a great post on her blog all about the trip and you can read all about it here: The Galyan Gang Thanks Jill!

Hey Kim,
I just wanted to say how glad I was you came to see me. So fun! to meet your kids and chat. ps 100 years ago you brought me some Chex Holiday Mix. I still have the bowl and it is my favorite 'storage container'. I think of you every time I use it.
