In the spring, we realized that Allie would need glasses when we took her to the eye dr. Her eyesight isn't too bad so she was able to last the summer without them. With school starting it seemed like the ideal time to get them so last week we picked some out. This weekend Allie got to wear them for the first time. She has enjoyed being able to see long distances again. She says it's like wearing binoculars all the time. I would have to agree.

Sarah just said, "Those are sooo cute on her!" (o: I have to agree and I remember getting my first glasses in fourth grade too - I remember thinking how cool it was to see each leaf on the trees. They were just green blobs before!
She looks so adorable in her glasses!
She looks great! Just be glad she didn't start wearing them when she was little. Noah got them at age 3 and we went through 3 pair in 2 years! And we just got new ones in Feb and had to order new frames this last week b/c the old ones got broken! Little boys and their glasses--I tell ya!
