I have been neglecting my blog lately for a good reason--we moved to Texas! We now live in West Texas on the South Plains. It's flat, hot and we love it here. We miss our family and friends in Portland, but hope to be back soon. Michael wants to be a pediatric dentist and found a job down here that will give him great experience. We have been enjoying having him around and not in dental school! When he starts work tomorrow, we will all be sad to see him go. (But happy when that first pay check comes!) Our time in Portland came to an end quickly and so we didn't get to say good bye to everyone we wanted to--we're sorry. We do plan to be back though so please don't forget about us!

Glad to hear that you're loving it! We won't forget you! Are you guys planning on just being there for a year? I"m guessing he wants to get into the pedo program here? We hope you come back soon! Lane misses seeing Mike.

Like they said, we will not forget you. My family is pretty much counting down the days until you are back so hopefully it is sooner then later but whenever would be wonderful. Just don't forget about your blog and you need to get onto facebook. :)
So happy to hear from you Kim, I was going through withdrawals from all the Melanson kid cuteness. I love San Antonio. Have you been to the riverwalk mall yet? Hope you enjoy your stay and I think M would be a FANTASTIC ped. dentist! I would take my kids to him in a heartbeat! Miss you guys!
