We had a nice Easter Sunday. It ended with a great dinner at Pete and Julie's with Bob and Kim. The kids enjoyed all the morning Easter stuff. It was not really a great day for taking pictures. So here's the best we got. Kate really wasn't in the mood and we needed to get to church. We had wonderful talks at church about Jesus Christ's sacrifice and resurrection. I cannot fully understand the Atonement, but I do know that Jesus Christ died for all mankind and took our sins upon him. I know that he personally took my own sins upon Him that I may be forgiven. I also know that he suffered in all ways and truly knows what we are going through when we are having pain, or hard times. I know that Jesus Christ can offer us peace in the midst of all our troubles. I know that he was resurrected and that we too will someday be resurrected and will be able to live forever with Him and with our families. I don't get to share those thoughts with my family and friends as much as I would like, but that knowledge is part of me and gives me hope and strength each day. I am so grateful to have that knowledge to share with my children as I know it will be a strength to them as well.

Thank you for sharing your testimony with me. I loved that. I also feel so thankful for the atonement.
That is very sweet. Your kids are getting so big!
Cute picture! AT least they are all looking at the camera--that seems to be my hardest thing about getting a picture lately! Happy Easter!
Hey Kim - you are so great and even though you don't always say those things out loud, the way you live definitely shows it. It is so nice to hear good friends' testimonies and share that bond of having faith in Christ.
the kids look great- i love the girls' outfits. thank you for sharing your testimony on the atonement. i, too, cannot fully understand it; but am so grateful for it.
