So other than being on vacation for 2 weeks in CA, the other reason I have not been posting much is that we are in the middle of moving!!! Its been hectic--we found out at the end of June when I was CA for the funeral that we needed to be out by the end of August (the owner of all the property we live on is building a large horse barn, and plans to have his horse trainer live in our current house) . After our last trip to CA, my Mom flew back with us and is staying a whopping 22 days to help us move. (She's a saint, I can't imagine having to do this on my own. Although I do wonder if she feels like she's trapped in a madhouse!)
We have been out on "the farm" for 4 years and now we're moving to the city. We are so excited to be closer to Michael's school. He's always had such a long commute. I will send out an email soon with our new address and phone number. Someday I will catch up on posts from our vacation--I have great footage of the kids learning to surf with Uncle Neil--but for now it's back to packing and cleaning. Yippee!

Too bad they couldn't wait a year to have you move. It will be nice to have a shorter commute though. I'm a little jealous of that but not enough to move. : )

Cute picture. We are going to miss you so much! Even though you are not too far away, it seems so far since we will not be in the same ward. I will have to come and steal my baby from you one of these days. I wish we were here to help you move. Sorry.
Well, the good thing about a move is you have the chance to sort. Maybe you are good about keeping up with that, but each time we move, I get rid of a bunch of junk. And I feel so much better! Good luck with the move.
